Coalition campaigning for financial system change

10 Years On

The 10 Years On campaign was formed across 19 countries and 60 organisations to mark a decade since the financial crash and bank bailouts of 2008 and raise awareness of the need to change finance to work better for people and planet.

 

Working with Finance Watch, Positive Money, Robin Hood Tax campaign, Unite, Jubilee Debt Campaign, Global Justice Now, Christians on the Left and War on Want I was the strategic media developing lead in the UK developing the media strategy, messaging and materials used across the whole campaign.

 

I trained our key spokespeople ready for launch which kicked off with a rally outside the Bank of England garnering extensive cut through across print and broadcast media.

 

Asha’s expertise, networks and support on our coalition ’10 Years On' (from the financial crash) campaign was invaluable.

 

She helped us establish messages that cut through

in the media and resonated with politicians and

the public. She also helped ensure we got coverage across several broadcast and print media.
